Robert M. Sleightam's Obituary
Robert M Sleightam (“Cowboy Bob”) was born on January 18, 1944 in Portland, Oregon to Donald & Madeline (Norine) Sleightam.
He died at his home in Scappoose on January 14, 2013 at the age of 68.
Robert graduated from Scappoose High School. He lived in the area all of his life with the exception of his time served in the US Navy.
He was a steam fitter for the local #290, retiring in May of 2000.
Robert was a member of the Alano Club, donating his time and playing pool.
Survivors include: Children: David & Roger of Scappoose, Robert of Kalama, WA.;
Katherine Grau of Powell, Wyoming; 7 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild.
Celebration of Life: Friday, January 25, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Columbia Funeral Home.
