Robert Carl Tolleshaug's Obituary
Robert Carl Tolleshaug passed away February 9, 2019 at the age of 92. He was born October 19, 1926 to Katherine and Michal Tolleshaug in Rainier, Oregon.
After attending school in Rainier, Oregon, Robert joined the Navy and served during WWII in the Pacific Theater. He returned home and met his wife at a local dance. He married Mae Velma Karjala November 27, 1948 in Rainier, Oregon. In the early 50's they moved to St. Helens, Oregon.
Robert worked at the Rainier Creamery, Standard Dairy, Veterans Affairs and drove bus for Jensen Transportation. He was a member of the VFW, the St. Helens and Rainier Senior Centers, enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing and traveling.
Proceeding him in death was his wife Mae passed May 16, 2016, Son Larry Tolleshaug (Jill) passed May 21, 2016. He is survived by sons Neal Tolleshaug (Nancy) and Craig Tolleshaug (Susan), 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held March 16, 2019 at 2pm at Green Mountain Cemetery in Rainier. Donations can be made to St. Helens or Rainier Senior Centers.
