Roberta Jeanette (Gordon) Robinson's Obituary
Roberta Jeanette (Gordon) Robinson
May 27, 1945 ~ June 12, 2017
Roberta died peacefully in her sleep of Congestive Heart Failure at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Roberta was born in Vancouver, Washington and graduated from Fort Vancouver High School in 1962. She worked in the Vancouver office for Del Monte Corp and later had a state licensed children’s Day Care Business.
She moved to St. Helens, Oregon and worked for the Columbia County Commissioners. Roberta worked as the Transplant Coordinator at OHSU for 10 years and later became a successful Real Estate Agent.
She was part of a grassroots neighborhood group who were instrumental in helping turn the Klineline Gravel pit into beautiful Salmon Creek County Park. She belonged to First Lutheran Church in St. Helens, Oregon. Roberta enjoyed camping, going to the beach, staying at the Kalama River family cabin, cruise ship traveling, and Elvis, who she was lucky enough to see in concert twice!
Roberta is survived by her sister, Jeanette Bricker (Rich) of Vancouver, Washington, brother Richard Gordon (Mena) of Battleground, Washington; half sisters, Barbara Hanson, and Beverly Nagel, of Castle Rock, Washington; two sons, Shawn Robinson (Diane) of Columbia City, Oregon, and David Stubbs (Cynthia) of Kona, Hawaii. She is also survived by three grandchildren; along with two nephews and a niece (her only “daughter”).
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert (Bob) and Jeanette Gordon; and Bill Ezzell, her significant other.
The Family will be having a “Celebration of Life” for Roberta later this summer.
