Memories
It is with heartfelt sadness and joy that I share some thoughts about the sweet sister Rochelle was to me. She was a loving daughter, a cherished friend and a loving sister to me. She was not just my sibling, she was my dearest friend, my confidant, and my family.
One of my earliest memories was Rochelle giving me a bath in Kings Park Manitoba, Canada. She had the job of helping take care of us younger siblings. After we grew up she came to work for me in Monterey Calif. We had the chance to really get close and we had many wonderful trips and fun times together. She was always ready to get up and go. So many memories it is hard to choose just one. We hung out together, laughed, cried, and connected on a deep heart level. My fondest memories are her giving me her wise console and always being there for me to help me problem solve and comfort me with wise advice in difficult times. And we also just had fun going out for a walk, for dinner, working together, for a show or traveling together. I have many memories and all these times I will always cherish.
I will always remember her beautiful, comforting wise voice and she had the power to brighten even the dark days.
Rochelle had unwavering strength and a kind heart. She had many, many challenges in her life and she faced them with courage and grace. She had a way of making me feel loved and special. She was always there for me. I knew she always had my back. It was heartbreaking to see her beautiful mind diminish through her journey with dementia. Even through her greatest challenge, she always found it in her to express her love for me.
I will miss you always Rochelle. You will always live in my heart. Love Paulette
