Ronald F. Stockdale's Obituary
Ronald F. Stockdale was born on August 26, 1936 in St. Helens, Oregon to George and Irma Boyd Stockdale. He died in St. Helens on December 19, 2007 at the age of 71.
He fell in love and married Linda Neff on January 3, 1977.
Ronald worked hard all of his life. He started logging when he was just 16 and he was a crane operator for a Rainier Manufacturing Company and also worked at a dairy in Eastern Oregon from 1980-1987. But mostly logged most of his adult life.
Outdoor activities were a passion for Ronald. He liked fishing, hunting, camping and riding quads. He was a member of the Columbia River Four Square Church and enjoyed spending time with family.
Ronald is survived by his wife Linda; and children: Pearl Nollette of St. Helens, Ronetta Sorber of Vernonia, Linda Adams of Deer Island, Duane Stockdale of St. Helens, Alyn Doyle of St. Helens and Paul Wood of Deming, New Mexico; 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by children; Patti, Rodney and David and brother, George.
A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Columbia Funeral Home.
