Rosalie Anne Rise's Obituary
Rosalie Anne Rise was born on April 7, 1938 in Clintonville, West Virginia to John & Alverda Crookshanks Hoke.
She died at her home in Scappoose, Oregon on August 12, 2010 at the age of 72.
Rosalie moved to Portland, Oregon in 1945 from West Virginia, graduating high school in Portland in 1956. She married Ronald L. Rise on January 18, 1956 in Coeurd' Alene, Idaho. They resided in Portland prior to moving to Scappoose eight years ago.
She worked for the Department of Motor Vehicles for 20 years, retiring in 1999.
Rosalie was a member of the Methodist denomination and she enjoyed music, flowers, shopping, gardening, traveling and family.
Survivors include: Husband: Ronald Rise, Children: David & Jim Rise, Charlotte Wylie and Rhonda Duran; Siblings: Jean Seiberts, Janet Dorsey, Lois Tohlen, Carol Beck, Richard Hoke; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by Brothers: John, Calvin, Condol Hoke; Sister: Treva Berry; Parents: Alverda & John Hoke.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 10:00 AM at First United Methodist Church-St. Helens
Committal service & Vault interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens Cemetery-Scappoose, OR.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Community Home Health & Hospice of Longview, Washington.
