Rose Mae Carlson's Obituary
Rose Mae Carlson was born on September 9, 1933 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Frank & Dora Bailey Evans.
She died at her home in St. Helens on March 7, 2009 at the age of 75.
Rose moved Oregon in 1955 settling in NE Portland and to Prineville, Oregon from 1977-2007, 2007-2009 in St. Helens.
She met Clinton Carlson in 80 feet of water in the Hood Canal while scuba diving and on August 10, 1968 they were married in Portland, Oregon. They spent every anniversary at a campsite on Mt. Hood.
Rose graduated from Mt. Hood Community College as a surgical technician.
She was the glue for the family and was extremely loved and will be missed by all.
Survivors include: Husband: Clinton Carlson of St. Helens; Daughters: Tracey L. Scheetz of St. Helens; Melody Becker of Gold Beach, OR.; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; preceded in death by daughter & son-in-law: Jane & Dana Evans in 1998.
