Roy W. McCullar's Obituary
Roy W. McCullar was born on October 26, 1917 in Albion, OK. to George & Bernia Gentry McCullar.
He died at his home in Scappoose, OR. on October 22, 2005 at the age of 87.
He received his education in Oklahoma then worked in the oil fields there for 20 years until moving to Portland in 1947 and then to Scappoose in 1949.
He married Lena in 1936 and she preceded him in death in 1973. He later married Genevieve Kauffman, they were married for 19 years and she also preceded him in death in 1993.
He was a millwright for Oregon Steel Mills for 28 years, retiring in 1974.
He enjoyed the Oregon Steel Mill social club and he was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include: Companion & Friend: Geraldine Meyers of Scappoose; Daughter & Son-in-law: Joyce & Richard Jones of Scappoose; Son & Daughter-in-law: Calvin McCullar & Dee Sorensen; both of Scappose; Stepchildren & spouses: Judy & Larry Engstrom of Scappoose; Gary & Joan Wright of Lake Oswego, OR.; Caregivers: Pam Davidson, Pam Bernal; 8 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; several step great grandchildren.

Funeral service: Wed. 10/26/05 at 10:30 at Columbia Funeral Home
Committal service & vault interment: Yankton Hillcrest Cemetery.
