Ruth H. Ridenour's Obituary
Ruth H. Ridenour was born on July 8, 1918 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Edward & Mary Kessler Funk.
She died at a Portland hospital on April 11, 2006 at the age of 87.
She married Willard on July 28, 1940 in Wagner, OK. They moved to St. Helens from Berkley, CA. in 1944, living here for 62 years.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed playing the church piano and organ
and singing in the choir. She was a member of Yankton & Grace Baptist churches. She also went fishing, camping, and played card & board games. She loved the Chicago Cubs.
Survivors include: Husband: Willard C. Bill Ridenour of St. Helens; Children: Charles E. Ridenour of Kelso, WA.; Ronald G. Ridenour of Deer Island, OR.; Jerry L. Ridenour & Peggy L. Kling both of St. Helens, OR.; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.
Committal service & vault interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens-Scappoose, OR. Sat. 4/15/06 at 1:00 PM
Celebration of Life: Saturday, 4/15/06 at 2:00 PM at Grace Baptist Church.
