Ruth Myrtle Freedle's Obituary
Ruth M. Freedle was born on May 13, 1920 in Summers, Arkansas to Thomas & Mary Barber Jones.
She died at her home in St. Helens on July 1, 2006 at the age of86.
She moved to Portland in 1940 from Arkansas. She married Leroy in Tijuana, Mexico on January 13, 1945. They lived here for a time until she and Leroy moved to Fossil in 1975. She moved back after his death in 1996. She and her husband were self-employed ranchers in Fossil, OR.
She was a seamstress and crocheted and won many ribbons for her work at the county fair. She has attended both the Nazarene and First Missionary Baptist Churches.
Survivors include: Siblings: Elva Chadwell of Oklahoma City, OK.; Bert Randolph of St. Helens; Jim Jones of Victorville, CA.; Forrest Jones of Oklahoma City, OK.; 33 nieces & nephews and a large loving family.
Memorial service: Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Nazarene Church-St. Helens
