Ryan Lee Moores' Obituary
Ryan Lee Moores was taken suddenly February 14, 2011 as a result of a brain aneurysm. We will miss his bright blue eyes, infectious laugh and warm hugs.
Ryan was born, August 30, 1978 in Portland, to Butch and June Faber Moores. He was one of four children and was raised and schooled in Scappoose. He graduated from Scappoose High School in 1997. Ryan worked for Bob Carlson Sheet Metal in Hillsboro for 13 years with his dad. He spent many hours volunteering for Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, and was a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. From a young age Ryan loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting with his family, friends, and four legged companion Ebony. He was a giving person and a protector of his family.
Ryan is survived by his parents Butch and June Moores of Scappoose, sisters; Ricci and Luke Bickle of Vanuatu, Bryann and Jason Liday of Scappoose, Kristin Moores of Scappoose. His loving girlfriend Katie Luttrell of St. Helens. Grandparents; Ruth and Jerry Stelzig of Tillamook, Merrill Moores and Pam of Nehalem. Aunts and uncles include Linda & Paul Kaastad of Vancouver, Washington, Diana & Allen Fitzpatrick of Tillamook, David and Tami Moores of Astoria, Laura & Phil Magwood of Roy, Oregon, Don & Kerry Faber of Tillamook, Dianne & Gary Dick of Astoria and Debi Faber & Cliff Kilponen of Naselle, Washington. Many cousins and adoring nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held, 12:00 PM, Noon Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Scappoose High School Auditorium, Scappoose, Oregon.
Contributions can be made in Ryan's name to the Scappoose High School Baseball team.
