Sally Rose McCarrick's Obituary
Sally Rose McCarrick was born on June 1, 1957 in Denville, New Jersey to George & Charlotte Elliott Wilson.
She died in a Longview, Washington hospital on Mary 14, 2008 at the age of 50.
She was educated in Jefferson Township, New Jersey and graduated in 1975. She married Blake on August 29, 1982 in Warden, New Jersey.
They moved to Aloha, Oregon in 1986 and then to Rainier, Oregon in 1993 until present.
She was a fiber artist for 20 years right up until her illness. She worked 1 day/week at the Fiber & Stiches store here in St. Helens.
Sally was baptized into the Methodist denomination and was a member of the Hand Weavers Guild in Tacoma, WA.; She taught Basketry at Damascus Pioneer; Fiber Arts Academy in Clackamas, OR.; Oregon Flock & Fiber in Canby, OR.; Black Sheep Gathering in Eugene.
She also enjoyed horses, fiber animals, quilting, sewing and kayaking.
Survivors include: Husband: Blake McCarrick of Rainier; Mother & Stepfather: Peter & Charlotte Garcia of Hemet, CA.; Children: Chelsea McCarrick of Rainier; Kristopher Wilson of Franklin, New Jersey; Brother: George Wilson of Lake Helen, Florida; 2 grandchildren; Peter Wilson, Seth Gerald.
Celebration of Life: Monday, May 19, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Columbia Funeral Home-St. Helens.
