Samantha Marie Jurkiewicz's Obituary
Samantha Marie Jurkiewicz passed away at the age of 36 in Portland from the consequence of Status Asthmaticus on June 24, 2012.
Samantha was born on December 7, 1975 in Portland, Oregon, the daughter of Stanley Michael and Janice Ruth Finney Jurkiewicz. She was the 2nd eldest of four children. Sam attended both Oregon City and St. Helens High School.
In 1995 she married the love of her life, John Fleming. Unfortunately, life changed and they later divorced, but remained good friends. Samantha spent her entire life time in the St. Helens area. She was known to be creative and spontaneous, a dare devil who liked to deer hunt, cook, tend her vegetable garden and was a huge fan of NASCAR and Jeff Gordon #24. She had a collection of over 40 NASCAR hats. She also was a lover of animals.
Samantha is survived by her children; Christina Fleming-Jurkiewicz, James Fleming, Hayley Fleming and Cheyenne Jurkiewicz; parents: Mike and Janice Jurkiewicz; siblings: Tabatha Abraham, Andrea Cullen and Johnathan Jurkiewicz, all of St. Helens.
