Sandi Weber's Obituary
Our mother, Sandi Weber, has shed the body that no longer served her well and joined the angels in heaven to continue her passions in life; holding babies, sewing and shopping. She passed peacefully at her home in Scappoose, Oregon on May 21st, 2019 at the age of 72.
Sandi was born September 28, 1946 to Fred and Agnes Vogel in Dallas, Oregon. Her love for children followed her throughout her life. She provided daycare for hundreds of families and foster care for over 45 children. As a member of St. Frederic Catholic Church, she started a children’s sermon during Sunday Mass. Sandi was willing to help anyone in need, especially those who could not advocate for themselves. She was the Chair of a review board for the Lane County Foster Care System and Chair of the W.H.E.A.T beautification organization in Grass Valley Oregon. Sandi had a remarkable talent for bringing people together in cooperation for the many passions in her life. She was liked and well thought of by others. Her smile and disposition were contagious.
Sandi is survived by her husband of 52 years John Weber, her children; DeAnna Bundy, Shawn Weber and Crystal Weber, grandchildren; Joshua, Jaxon, Anastasia, Elijah, Logan, Damian and Kassandra.
Being the youngest of nine sibling she was preceded in death by Helen, Beverly, Jim, Bill, Vivian, Jack, and Dick. She is survived by one sister Carol Cummins. Coming from a large family, she is cherished by hundreds of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, June 9, 2019 at 2:00 PM in Buccini Hall at St. Frederic Catholic Church, St. Helens, Oregon. Contributions in Sandi’s name can be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Portland, Oregon. Please sign our online guestbook at www.columbiafh.com.
