Sharon Lea McCleary was born on September 14, 1946 in Burbank, CA. to Chester & June Rouse Matteson.
She died at her home in St. Helens, Oregon on June 22, 2009 at the age of 62.
She grew up in California and lived in Sylmar, CA. for 17 years prior to moving to St. Helens.
She was married to Patrick McCleary on October 31, 1964 in North Hollywood, CA., he preceded her in death on February 22, 1997.
She worked as a machinist for an aerospace services co-L.A. Gage.
Survivors include: Daughter: Shelly Fisher of Milwaukie, OR.; Mother: June Matteson of St. Helens; Siblings: Wanda Sicocan of Eaglecreek, OR.; Steve Matteson of St. Helens; Debbie Weier of Bremerton, WA.; Pearl Bays of St. Helens; Sue Matteson of Tigard, OR.; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; many generations of loving nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by son: Sean McCleary, husband: Patrick; father: Chester Matteson.
Memorial service: Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 2:00 PM at St. Helens Senior Center.
Private interment: Glen Haven Memorial Park Cemetery-San Fernando, CA.
