Sharon Gloria Rynning's Obituary
Sharon Gloria Rynning was born on December 14, 1938 on the family farm near Dickinson, N. Dakota to Melvin & Marie (Christensen) Hellickson.
She died in her home in Columbia City on July 28, 2013 at the age of 74.
Sharon attended a country school south of Halliday, N. Dakota. She met Jerome Rynning and they were married on December 19, 1956 in Dickinson, N. Dakota.
They moved to Columbia City, Oregon on May 27, 1962 and had resided in the same home since.
Sharon worked for 27 ½ years as a school cook at McBride School, retiring in June of 1997.
They were members of First Lutheran Church, the Moose Lodge and N. Portland Eagles Lodge 3426 for 35 years. Her enjoyments included all kinds of dancing and gardening.
Survivors include: Sister: Winona Reader; Niece Kimberly Mathisen both of Scappoose; 1st Cousin: Larry Rohde of Bismark, N. Dakota.
Viewing & visitation: 9-5 Tuesday at Columbia Funeral Home
Funeral: Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 11:00 AM at First Lutheran Church
Committal Service & Vault Interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens.
