She met George Lloyd in Beatrice, Nebraska at the Senco filling station where George was working as an attendant in 1963. She decided right then that he was very conceited and did not like him very much. Not long after they met it was her birthday and he bought her a fancy set of lingerie; he gave it to her at her birthday party in front of her family and friends, she was never so embarrassed in her life, she was very bashful person.
She would spend time dancing with her friends, where George was always there. They ended up spending a lot of time dancing together and one night George took her home, and they became friends. The more time they spent together the more they fell in love; they were married in Auburn, Nebraska on April 3, 1964. They had their first child Michelle Lloyd in June of 1966.
In 1966 they moved to Oregon where the Lloyd family was, and for work. They had their second child George Lloyd III in August 1968. They had their third child Beth Lloyd in November of 1970. Sharon worked in many different jobs before she started working as a maid and within a few months she was promoted to and executive housekeeper where she continued in that position at a few different places until she retired. Sharon had many friends that meant the world to her, to name a few were John and Kathleen Harrison, Mary Boorse, and Maxine Potratz. She was loved by many family members and always spoke highly of them all especially her niece Julie Beaudoin.
