Sharon T. Weed's Obituary
Sharon T. Weed was born on February 16, 1931 in Klamath Falls, Oregon to Henry P. & Lola L. Mumert Mingo.
She died at a Portland hospital on April 23, 2009 at the age of 78.
Most of her education was in Sioux City, Iowa.
She married Gene E. Weed in Yakima, WA. in 1948, he preceded her in death in 1965. She moved from Washington state to Scappoose in 1978 until present.
She was a housekeeper, but her real focus was her educational bible work starting in 1970 until present.
She was a member of the Jehovah Witness. Her interests were people and teaching the bible.
Survivors include: 5 children: Julee Hardy, Launa Kirsch both of Scappoose; Ron Weed of Council, Idaho; Steve Weed of Yakima, WA.; Gene Weed of Homer Alaska; brother: Gary Mingo of Anchorage, Alaska; 16 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.
Memorial service: Sunday, May 3, 2009 at 5:00 PM at Scappoose Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall.
