It has been such an honor to know Shirley. She has been the hallmark of volunteerism and community service. She has touched the lives of so many of our youth, and I cannot help but think there are a lot of kids who have grown up to be great adults and contributing members of society because of her. The Columbia County Community is missing an angel. May you rest in peace.
Living next door to her for years she was a amazing lady who was the sweetest person I know,she will be missed I will always remember the days of walking home from school and seeing her outside working in the yard I would stop by the fence and visit her and her dogs she was so kind but she always had a flower she would give me ( I was young ) the memories will last forever !
