Shirley Rae Thiede's Obituary
Shirley Rae Thiede was born on October 15, 1933 in Minden, Nebraska to James & Merna Keim Etzelmiller.
She died at a Portland hospital on June 10, 2007 at the age of 73.
She moved to the area with her parents at a very young age living here all of her life.
She attended and graduated from the Condon School.
She worked as an operator and in the directory department for Pacific NW Bell which became Qwest Communications for 33 years, retiring in 1990.
Her interest included crocheting afghans, going to the beach at Seaside, walking, cooking and making fruitcakes.
Survivors include: Children: Dennis Thiede of St. Helens; Debra Johnson of San Mateo, CA.; David Thiede of St. Croix, Virgin Islands; 2 granddaughters: Michele & Christina Johnson.

Private family committal service & vault interment: Bayview Cemetery-Warren, OR.
