Sister Marilyn Misner O.S.F.
A Mass will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, August 25, 2007, at St. Fredric's Catholic Church in St. Helens for Sister Marilyn Misner O.S.F., who died August 16, 2007 of a brain tumor at the age of 65.
Marilyn Misner was born June 20, 1942, in Portland, Oregon. She graduated from St. Mary's Academy, Briarcliffe College, and received a Master's Degree from Mount Angel Seminary. A Sister of St. Francis for 46 years, she taught and was principal at All Saints Catholic School in Portland which she attended as a child for about 10 years. She also taught religion at St. Mary's Academy and was a Pastoral Associate for St. Fredric's Parish for the last 18 years.
Survivors include her sister, Karen Polloway; brother Glenn; and the members of her religious community.
