Stacey Louise Bailey's Obituary
Stacey Louise Bailey, 63, passed away suddenly on July 23, 2023, following multiple complications from surgery.
Stacey was born in Livermore, CA to Danford W. Gellerman and Darla N. Gellerman (both deceased). After her early years in California, the family moved to Arkansas, Iowa, and then Oregon. Stacey planted her roots in Oregon and enjoyed a simple life with her husband and sons.
Stacey leaves her husband David, son Matthew (Trina), son Michael (Mylissa), & step-son Joe Shields. Her brother Mark (Marta) Gellerman of Atkins, IA and sister Terri (Richard) Schumacher of Lisbon, IA. Her many beloved nephews, nieces, and their children in Iowa.
Stacey made her career as a senior credit manager employed by Rodda Paint for over these last 15 years. Previously she worked for many years at Graphic Arts Center Publishing in the same position. She was loved by her colleagues and customers and she loved them.
In her early adult years, she enjoyed following her 'guys' in various racing sports, camping, and time at the Oregon coast. She was a hard-worker around her home and yard.
She was a longtime TV fan of all NASCAR racing and following the Decorah eagles live action cam. She loved collecting eagle decor as well as Hamms Beer memorabilia including drinking her fair share.
Each of her last 10 years, she made an annual vacation to her Iowa family where she enjoyed pontoon rides and swimming on the lakes, girly-girl time with her sister, and the many family get-togethers full of laughter, fun, and plenty of Hamms.
As per her wishes, no services will be held. Your memories are what she would want celebrated with a beer raised to the sky. At a later date her cremains will be cast in the natural surroundings of her beloved family of eagles in Decorah, Iowa.
Sore high in the Heavens of eternal life, Stacey. You are missed and loved.
