Sterling - Blades' Obituary
Sterling Blades was born on May 30, 1930 in Springfield, Missouri to Herschel & Agnes Lindley Blades.
He was found on June 1, 2008 at the age of 78.
He was educated in Missouri. In 1950 he moved to Forest Grove, OR. Married to Muriel Granum on 2/10/52, they divorced and on 3/9/57 he married Beula Marchant. They have lived on Logie Trail for the past 17 years.
He was a truck driver for 10 years and scraped metal for the past 10 years.
Member of the Holbrook Bible Church and the N.R.A.
Interest included hunting and fishing.
Survivors include: Wife: Beula Blades of Portland; James Blades Catherine of Portland; Connie Wooldridge Rick of Beaverton; Jerry Blades Shari of Graham, WA.; Karen Blades of N. Hollywood, CA.; 3 grandchildren: David, Jon Wooldridge of Beaverton; Cierra Blades of Graham, WA.
Private interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens-Scappoose, OR.
