Steve was our good neighbor for over 30 years. Whenever I drove by, Steve always waived and greeted me with a smile. His acknowledgement was taken as an act of civility and kindness, and always well appreciated. My wife, Cindy, joins me in sending our condolences to Jeanne and the Correll family.

I had the privilege of working with Steve at Branom Instrument Company. I remember him as a dedicated, insightful and diligent colleague with a glorious sense of humor. I recall a meeting with Steve who was instrumental in my return to the Branom workplace, and the big old bear hug he gave me in welcoming me back after our meeting. He had a way of making people feel appreciated and valued, something I was so fortunate to experience firsthand. Thank you, Steve.
I Remember when Steve was born here in Eureka,Ca. His family was long time friends and church members at our church. We missed them when they moved to Wash. So sorry to hear of his illness and passing.

I have several fond and fun memories of Steve... probably the first was the road trip with him and Jeanne in that antique car of his when I was still in high school!! (I was the younger cousin that was lucky enough to go on trips with the Kuehl family). What make and model was that, Jeanne?? It was cool!! Steve even popped in to see me when I was living in Bend, Or. “back in the day”, and put up with me and my crazy girlfriends out dancing!! 💃🕺 Steve always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. He will be missed by all. Godspeed. ❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️

When my girls were younger, we had the opportunity to visit Steve and Jeanne at their farm. Steve patiently and happily showed my older daughter (she was around three at the time) around their property, including seeing their cow and tractor. He put my daughter on his lap and fired up the old tractor. It was so fun to see the joy on both Steve and my daughter's face. I am so grateful for the friendship of both Steve and Jeanne.
