Susan Marie Matzen's Obituary
Susan Marie Matzen passed away on November 26, 2019 at Kaiser Westside Hospital in Hillsboro, Oregon at the age of 67.
Susan was born on May 16, 1952 in St. Helens, Oregon to James Warren Thorp and Donna Mae Thorp (Lattin). She grew up and attended school in St. Helens.
Susan married David Matzen on July 13, 1972 in St. Helens. From there they would move to Rapid City, South Dakota, Medenbach in Germany then back to Oregon where they spent the next 34 years in Warren.
Susan had a passion for baking, animals, and the Southern Oregon coast.
Susan is survived by her loving husband David; brothers, Jim and Byron; sister Bonnie; many nieces and nephews; and her brother in laws, Ron, Mike, Jimmy, Doug, and Zane.
