Sylvia C. Myers Armstrong was born on March 19, 1925 in Livingston Co., MO. to John & Jessie Vanderpool Williams.
She died on November 4, 2005 at her home in Columbia City, OR. at the age of 80.
She married Earl Myers, who preceded her in death in 1977, she then married Alvin Armstrong who also preceded her in death.
She was a messenger for the St. Johns hospital for 15 years, retiring in 1982.
She has lived in Columbia City for the past 2 years.
She was a member of Yankton Baptist Church, bowled on a league, enjoyed cooking and being a homemaker.
Survivors include: Children: Karen Liebe of Columbia City; Jack Myers of Sterling, CO.; Robert Myers of Columbia City; Daryl Myers; Earl Myers, Jr. both of Scappoose, Dennis Myers of Nebraska; 2 brothers: Hook Williams of Laramie, Wyoming, Jerry Williams of AZ.; grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by 2 children: Lanny, Lucky Myers, 2 sisters, 1 brother.
Celebration of Life: Monday, November 7, 2005 at 10:00 AM at Yankton Baptist Church.
Committal service & interment: Yankton Hillcrest Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Legacy Hospice.
