Tammy Lee Meyers' Obituary
Tammy Lee Meyers, of St. Helens, Oregon, passed away Tuesday, June 13th, at her home. She was 55 years old.
Tammy was born March 21st, 1968, in Iowa City, Iowa, but relocated to Oregon, as a child. She first landed in Lebanon before moving to Salem and, later, St. Helens for her permanent home.
Tammy loved life and loved going on new adventures. Visits to lighthouses and the beach always brought her great joy. She loved the sounds of the ocean and the feel of the sand on her feet. A fan of nature's big thrills, Tammy never passed up the opportunity to take in a good lightning storm.
Collecting souvenirs became a special hobby for Tammy. Some of her most prized possessions include a significantly large collection of pens and refrigerator magnets, gathered from people and places around the world. While she loved to travel and explore new places, Tammy always made sure to stay close to her kids and grandkids, as the time spent together was something she held most precious.
With a warm smile and kind heart, Tammy will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Tammy is survived by her significant other, Orville Wise (St. Helens, OR); mother, Sandy Smith (Tucscon, AZ); sister Christina Steadman (Tuscson, AZ); brothers Craig Lachman (Hemet, CA), Carl Lachman III (Salem, OR), and Clay Lachman (Salem, OR). She is also survived by her four children: Alan Lachman (Dubach, LA), Travis Tucker (New Mexico), Crystal Caudell (Eugene, OR), Cheyenne Caudillo (Eugene, OR); 11 grandchildren; and 3 furbabies. Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Carl Lachman Jr., and her stepmother, Carol Lachman, both of Marana, Arizona.
A Visitation will be held at Columbia Funeral Home in St. Helens, Oregon, from 11:00am to 5:00pm on June 26, 2023.
