Obituary of Terese Marie Auker Cook
A celebration of life service will be held for Terese, 2:30 PM, Saturday, December 18th at the Scappoose Foursquare Church. Terese passed away at her home unexpectedly in Scappoose, December 10th, she was 44 years old.
Terese was born November 7, 1966 in Portland, Oregon to Jerry Owen and Joan Marie Arbogast Auker, the older of two children.
Raised in Portland, Terese graduated from Franklin in 1985. She later joined the United States Army and served as a nurse. Terese married Gary Edward Cook on December 28, 1991 at Vancouver, Washington. From this marriage they have three sons. She was active in her community serving as a volunteer with CASA, Elder care services and writing grants for animal sanctuaries.
Terese is survived by her husband; Gary, sons; Joshua, Travis, Jacob and Tony, granddaughter; Savannah, mother; Joan Auker, brother; Guy Auker, and nephew Caleb Auker. Preceded in death by her dad, Jerry Auker.
