Terri Lynne George
August 14, 1958 ~ October 4, 2017
Terri Lynne George passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 4, 2017 at the age of 59, after a nine-year battle with cancer. Terri was born in Portland, Oregon on August, 14, 1958, the daughter of Eldon E. Smith and Beverly D. Smith.
Terri graduated Wilson High School in 1976 and met her true love Randy George in May of 1976 at Council Crest Park. They married on September 24, 1977.
She worked at a variety of jobs throughout her life, most recently with Columbia Sportswear, but her most important job was being a mom to her three daughters.
The family moved from Portland in 1987 and called the beach in North Bend, Oregon home. They moved back to the Portland area in 1993 where they found a small farm in Warren, Oregon where Randy still resides.
She enjoyed gardening, crafts, traveling, and spending time outdoors with her family. Just a couple years ago she took up making crafts from felt and loved making items that included snowman kits, play kitchen foods, and ornaments that she would give out to her family and friends.
Terri is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Janine Javens.
She is survived by her husband, Randy; sister and brother in law, Kathy and James Cassinelli; brother in law, William Javens; daughter and son in law, Krystal and Jared Beadle; daughter, Megan George; daughter and son in law, Darci and Corey Snyder; grandchildren, Caden and Gunner Beadle, Kinley Snyder, and Baxter Percy; and numerous other family that include aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
There will be Celebration of Life open house for family and friends at the George residence in Warren, Oregon on Saturday October 21, 2017 at 1:30 p.m.
Close family members and friends are invited out early to attend a special ceremony in her honor starting at 1 p.m.
