During their time together they played tennis and lots of pinochle. They also farmed 80 acres and were very involved with their horses, spending their free time riding at the Canby arena on Friday nights, trail riding, packing in the Montana Bob Marshall Wilderness Area, barrel racing and gaming. The whole family were members of the Molalla Saddle Club with whom they would ride in the 4th of July Molalla Parade and in the Grand Entry at the Molalla Buckeroo Rodeo.

She then married Dick Inlow, a Columbia River pilot, and they moved to St.Helens, OR where her daughter remained. They were in the Push and Pulls 4 x 4 Jeep Club where Thelma competed in Jeep obstacle courses and earned many trophies. They also enjoyed white water rafting and playing racquetball where she also won several trophies. When she and Dick moved to Washougal, WA they raised packing llamas. Their Llama Landing business was always proud of their breeding lines, especially a stud named Conception she had flown in from Peru. When she left Washougal, her son remained there.
Thelma then moved to Battleground, WA where she raised Havanese dogs. Her Lovelink Havanese business thrived. She loved breeding, grooming, and training her dogs. She also had a passion for keeping up her park-like yard and gardening. During her time with Charles Bennett she enjoyed playing golf, nightly games of cribbage, and trips to Palm Springs.
She spent her last 5 years living with her daughter and visiting with her son, where she got to enjoy time with her great grandkids.
