Theodore D. Cotner's Obituary
Theodore D. Cotner was born on December 26, 1920 in Worland, Wyoming to Daniel & Myrtle Cotner.
He died peacefully at his sons home in Scappoose on October 10, 2005 at the age of 84.
He graduated from Hi school in Wyoming in 1938.
He was in the Army during World War II and is a Pearl Harbor Survivor.
He married Betty in Reno, NV. in 1985 and she preceded him in death in 2002.
He worked as a pressman for the Oregonian, Salem Statesman Journal and retired after 20 years with the Eugene Register Guard in 1983.
He lived in Eugene and Salem moving to Scappoose in July of 2004.
He was and avid fisherman and hunter, a member of the Salem Elks Lodge.
Survivors include: Children: Russ Cotner of Scappoose, OR.; Randy Cotner of Aloha, OR.; Debbie Fitzpatrick of Redmond, OR.; 5 stepchildren: Kenny Morgan of Salem, OR.; Sandy Morgan of Reno, NV.; Rick Morgan of Detroit, OR.; Robin Morgan of Silverton, OR.; 5 grandchildren.
