Obituary of Thomas Jefferson Wood
Thomas Jefferson Wood passed away in Portland on April 24, 2012, he was 59 years old. Born in Anaconda, Montana to Lee and Mabel Clair Robertson Wood, he was the youngest of three children. The family moved to the Rainier area when Tom was about 10 years old and where he graduated high school, class of 1971. He later moved to Deer Island in 1989. Tom worked for JA Freeman & Sons in Portland building farm equipment. He also enjoyed the outdoors camping and fishing.
He is survived by his children; Tom L. Wood of St. Helens, Tammy Brooks of Rainier, grandchildren; Felicia, Corinne, Clorissa and Donavan, Lillyan and Daniel, siblings; Bobby Wood of Rainier, Nancy Evans of Lincoln City and ½ sister Phyllis Gibson of Tacoma, Washington.
