Timothy Allen Lokken's Obituary
Tim loved life, his family & outdoor sports. Tim lived his life to the fullest & always gave 110%. The addition of Tim's grandson Ryan to their family brought many little hugs & smiles into his life.
During Tim's lifetime he enjoyed many activities from riding motorcycles, golf, fishing to race car driving, but it is his love of baseball & coaching that he enjoyed most.
Tim has been a part of the St. Helens athletic community for his entire life. He began playing sports early in life, continuing into High School, graduating from SHHS in 1977. He loved to play. After high school he played Men's League Softball.
Tim's coaching career began when he coached Sonia's women's softball team for one season and expanded when his children, Shauna & Matthew started playing youth sports. He was very excited for Ryan to begin playing t-ball!
Tim originated the youth football league in St. Helens and has been coaching & contributing to the lives of the St. Helens youth for over 18 years.
In 2009 he acquired the position of head coach for the St. Helens Lions baseball Team. Heaven on Earth for Tim!
He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Sonia, daughter Shauna, son, Matthew, grandson Ryan, Mother Winifred Lokken,
Sister Tami Schlumpberger, Brother in law Ron Schlumpberger, and Brother Dave Lokken.
He is also survived by many nephews & one niece in addition to the many people in the community who love him & will miss his humor & mentoring.
