Life changed and the family moved back to the Pacific Northwest settling in Vancouver, Washington at the age of 14 where he attended Mountain View High School. After high school he started his career in the printing industry as a printing press operator and maintenance supervisor. His work ethic was paramount to him, always on call and up to challenge when needed to meet company goals.
Growing up Shane was an adventure seeker and loved doing anything and everything outdoors from playing soccer and riding BMX bikes with his younger brother, to riding tractors and running around his grandfather’s farm in Warren, OR.
Later in life, Shane enjoyed hunting trips with his dad and looked forward to their annual ATV trips with his Uncle Don. Mostly, Shane just enjoyed being surrounded by friends and family, whether it was dinner at his parent’s house or watching Mariners, Seahawks or Cougar games with friends..
Shane had his own way of making everyone around him feel welcome and comfortable. He had a laugh so contagious, you’d forget why you were laughing in the first place.
Shane had a heart so big he will never be forgotten!
We’ll see ya when we see ya, bud!
