Verna Marie Hunt's Obituary
Verna Marie Hunt was born on May 27, 1914 in Nehalem, OR. to Herman & Ella Butler Tubbesing.
She died at her home in St. Helens on February 26, 2005 at the age of 90.
She was educated & graduated from Nehalem Hi in '32.
She married Donald in Washington in 1937, he preceded her in death in 1969.
She was a dairy farmer and for 8 years as a cook for the school district, retiring at age 62. She was a resident of Tillamook area all of her life and lived in St. Helens since 2002.
Member of Nehalem Methodist Church the Rebekkas and Mohler Grange. Her enjoyments included gardening, walking, her grandkids and family.
Survivors include: Daughter & son-in-law: Pam & Dr. Curnutt of St. Helens; 2 granddaughters and 2 great granddaughters.
Graveside service & vault interment: Nehalem American Legion Cemetery-Nehalem, OR.; Saturday, March 5, 2005 at 1:00 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made to Legacy Hospice or to American Cancer Society.
