The devoted and caring mother of five, Vernie is survived by her daughter Tracy Dupuis, of Spokane; daughter Teri Jackson of Portland; son Steven Pabst of Longmont, Colorado; daughter Trisha Cress of Austin, Texas; son Vincent Hamblin of Scappoose; and step-daughter Dawn Ferrucci of Coventry, Rhode Island.
Vernie will be remembered as a compassionate mother, caring partner, benevolent friend, and ardent patriot. Touching so many lives for the better, she left beautiful marks on the hearts and souls of those she encountered.
A private family viewing will be held on Thursday evening and a public service at 11:00am on Friday at the St. Helens LDS Church.
