Vicki Janean Austin's Obituary
Vicki Janean Woodward Austin passed away peacefully in her sleep June 5, 2019 at the age of 66.
Vicki was born March 6, 1953, to Robert Woodward and Druesilla Colleen Hansberry of Libby, Montana where she grew up and was a part of the Libby Loggers Baton team. She married Jerry Vaughn also of Libby, shortly out of high school. They soon after moved to Oregon.
Vicki later married Frank Samuel Austin Jr of Scappoose Oregon, and they moved to their home in Clatskanie, Oregon where they raised horses and cattle. Frank worked for Boise Cascade for many years in St. Helens, and Vicki worked for Ichabods, and Village Inn. Frank passed away May 15, 2017.
Vicki loved spending time in her yard playing with all her animals. Her grandkids were her everything. Her happiest times were watching them and helping them succeed in what they love. She volunteered at the hospital when she could, and often helped the church with their events. She loved singing and dancing with her friends and making everyone smile.
Vicki is survived by her three children, Edwin Carl Vaughn of Portland OR, Heidi Renee Vaughn of St. Helens OR, and Heather Janean Vaughn of Scappoose; 5 grandchildren Chelsey Vaughn, Cole Vaughn, Jaedynn Giles, Mckaylla Espinoza, and Jace Young all of Oregon; and 4 siblings Pat Woodward, Brenda Woodward Gossard, Stephen Woodward, and Kim Woodward Fyall all of Montana.
Vicki is proceeded in death by her husband Frank Samuel Austin Jr, mother Druesilla, father Robert, sister Linda, and brother Bobby.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday June 28, 2019 at 2pm at Warren Community Fellowship in Warren Oregon, followed by a reception. A Graveside service will be held later that day at Columbia Memorial at 4:15pm. Please sign our online guestbook at www.columbiafh.com
