Vickie Jane Davee's Obituary
With profound sadness the Davee Family, unfortunately, is announcing the passing of Vickie Jane Davee, a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Family Member who was cherished by many.
She passed away early in the morning on July 7, 2022, at the family’s home in Warren, Oregon. Vickie was born on January 2, 1947, in Grand Junction, Colorado. She spent a large portion of her life in Southern California where she graduated from Upland Highschool, married her husband Ronald Davee, and started a family.
In 1978 the Davee family settled in Warren, where she became a longtime resident of Columbia County, aiding the community by volunteering as a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts (Troop 280), and helping with youth sports. She also worked for Brock Candles and Bank of America.
She is known for her playful personality, weekly craft nights, sunbathing at the beach, pulling weeds with a butter knife, her love of children, winning money at casinos, and her holiday baking.
Vickie is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ronald Davee; their sons Eric, Kirk, and Wade; her sister Beckie Lewis; special relatives Dee Hart, Garret Lewis, Jackie O’Meara, and Patty King; and her numerous nieces, nephews, 12 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life is scheduled for August 6, 2022, at 3:00 pm at the Davee home.
