Victoria Mary Curnutt's Obituary
Mary was born on August 23, 1911 to John and Kate Parfitt Wormald in Bictoria, British Columbia, Canada. She died on September 18, 2004 in St. Helens, Oregon. She was 93 years of age.
Mary married Charles Curnutt in Victoria B.C. The young couple moved to Washington in 1934 for employment opportunities; and then to Garbaldi in 1940. The major part of Mary's life was spent on the Oregon coast.
She loved being a wife and mother. She was an excellent cook and was quite the hostess for their dinners after church on Saturday. Her Yorkshire pudding was known to be the world's finest! She enjoyed the flower garden and sewing and was very proud of her extensive collection of English Bone China. Mary was an active member of the 7th Day Adventist in Tillamook. She also loved the time spent with grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Charles in 1970, and three brothers: Jack, Herb and Tom Wormald. She is survived by her three sons: John of Madras, Bill of St. Helens, and Russell of Vancouver, Washington. There are 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held, Sat., October 2, 2004 at 3:330 PM at Tillamook 7th Day Adventist Church. Private inurnment: Tillamook, OR. Contributions may be made to Longview Hospice or a charity of ones choice.
