Vincent C. Boylan's Obituary
Vincent C. Boylan was born on August 23, 1925 in Kelso, Washington to Clair & Ida Mae (Early) Boylan.
He died at his home in St. Helens on October 20, 2013 at the age of 88.
Vincent attended school in Kalama, Washington. In 1940 he moved from Kelso to St. Helens. He married Ardis Harris on November 12, 1943 in St. Helens. On November 15, 1943 he went into the Navy and was discharged on January 18, 1946.
He retired from Campbell Towing Company in Rangell, Alaska in 1987. He also worked for Umpqua River Navigation and Shephard Towing Co. in St. Helens.
Vincent was a member of the St. Helens Elks Lodge #1999 since 1970. They enjoyed traveling in their motor home for 25 years until they moved with family in July of 2010 to Vancouver, WA.
Survivors include: Daughter & Son-In-Law: Ardis & John Nissen of Vancouver, WA.; 6 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren; Preceded in death by Wife Ardis and Son: Vince JC.
Celebration of Life: Thursday, October 31, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Columbia Funeral Home
Private interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens
