Virgil V. Warren's Obituary
Virgil V. Warren was born on June 2, 1923 in Cathlamet, WA. to Thomas & Mamie Andreasen Warren.
He died at a Portland hospital on February 3, 2009 at the age of 85.
He attended and graduated from Cathlamet High School in 1942.
He married Shirley Carnes in Cathlamet, WA. in 1947. She preceded him in death on 7/10/2008.
They moved to St. Helens in 1961 living here until present. He worked at Freison Lumber Co. for 31 years, retiring in 1993.
He was a member of the Columbia Christian Center. His enjoyments included golfing, fishing and telling stories.
Survivors include: Children: Keith Warren of St. Helens; Steve Warren of Moscow, Idaho; Julie Warren and Kenneth Warren of St. Helens; Sister: Doris Nelson of Kelso, WA.; Special niece: Susie Hirschi of Scappoose, OR.; 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
Memorial service: Monday, February 9, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Columbia Christian Center.
Private interment: Cathlamet, WA.
