Virginia J. Greisen's Obituary
Virginia J. Greisen was born on November 18, 1924 in Niobrara, Nebraska to Johnathon & Eletia Peterson Stevens.
She died at a Longview hospice care center on March 28, 2006 at the age of 81.
She attended schools in Nebraska and graduated from Hi school in Seattle, WA. in 1942.
She and Edward were married on April 12, 1945 in Inglewood, CA.; they moved to Portland living there for 20 years, then to Scappoose for the past 35 years.
She was a member of the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, active in the food bank there. She was also a member of the American Business Womens Association, Extension Service and a 4-H leader. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, canning and her grandchildren.
Survivors include: Husband: Edward Greisen of Scappoose; Children: Ron Greisen of Anchorage, Alaska; Diane Larson of Warren, OR.; Vicky Greisen of Seattle, WA.; Michael Greisen of Scappoose, OR.; Bob Greisen of Prineville, OR.; Janell Greisen of San Demis, CA.; Janet Cook of Cathedral City, CA.; Doug Greisen of Scappoose, OR.; Brother: Bob Stevens of Mt. Vernon, WA.; 18 grandchildren.

Recitation of the Rosary: 7PM both at Columbia Funeral Home
Mass of Christian Burial: Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at 10:30 AM at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church.
Committal service & vault interment; St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery-Scappoose, OR.
Memorial contributions maybe made to the church food bank.
