Vivienne - Ballenger's Obituary
Vivienne Ballenger was born on May 27, 1911 in Kingfisher, OK. to Lee & Gladys Pipes Ballenger.
She died at a Oregon City hospital on April 15, 2006 at the age of 94.
She was educated and graduated from Eureka, KS. high school in 1929. Member of the National Honor Society. She went to one years at teachers college, 1 year at University of Kansas music major 1 year at Wichita Business college.
She worked as a stenographer for the Kansas state senate. She moved to California in 1940. There she was a custodian for a farmers market for 40 years, retiring in 1975. She moved to St. Helens at that time, living here until moving to Milwaukie, OR. 9 years ago.
She was a member of the Christian Science denomination. Her interests included music classical, jazz and pop, photography, family and church. She also had a American Girl Doll collection.
Survivors include: Sister: Rosemary Jones of Milwaukie, OR.; 2 nephews and thier families.
Private family services to be held.
Private interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens Cemetery-Scappoose, Oregon.
