Wanda May Watters' Obituary
Wanda May Watters was born on May 5, 1923 in Girard, Kansas to Glenn & Lola Murnane Cramer.
She died at Avamere Assisted Living Center in St. Helens on March 1, 2007, at the age of 83.
Wanda moved to St. Helens and graduated from St. Helens High School in 1940. She started business college but was hired by the Title and Trust Company before finishing school.
She married Fred in December of 1945 in Longview, WA. He preceded her in death in 1971.
She & Fred were active in the community as member of the Elks, supporters of Little League and many school sports activities.
After her husband's death she operated the business Watters Concrete Products until she sold the business and retired in 1989. When she sold she treated all of the employees to a trip to Reno to celebrate.
In the mid 1970's she and Wes Weber began their personal life-partnership that lasted for more than 30 years. His children became an important part of her life. They traveled in thier RV's and loved to gamble in Reno.
She will be remembered fondly by family and friends as a very generous and caring individual, who was always interested in your story and how she could help.
Survivors include: Sons: Leslie Watters of Portland; Fred Watters of Corvallis; 2 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.

Private vault interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens-Scappoose, Oregon
