Waneta J. Thomas' Obituary
Remembered for her beauty, poise, and tenacity, the life of Waneta June Thomas will be celebrated on May 19, 2012 at 11:00am at the Columbia Funeral Home.
Waneta was born on July 3rd, 1919 in Astoria, Oregon and passed away on May 10, 2012 in St. Helens, Oregon.
She experienced great joy working for the telephone company for several years and enjoyed traveling both within the United States and abroad. Spending time with her grandson, Ron Baker, brought her the greatest fulfillment and happiness.
Including Ron, she will be missed by several loved ones: daughter, Renee Menchen, dear family friend Dick Dyer, great-grandson Elias Baker, step-daughter Karen Wardlow, great-nephew Andrew Wardlow, and great-nieces Kelsey Wardlow and Digna Artiles.
