Wava J. Ramberg's Obituary
Wava J. Ramberg was born on June 14, 1924 in Portland, OR. to Ernest & Jessie Peters.
She died at Meadow Park Nursing home in St. Helens on April 12, 2006 at the age of 81.
She was educated in Portland, married to Alfred in 1949 and shortly thereafter moved to St. Helens. She was raised in the Catholic denomination and later went on to the Lutheran Church.
She was a member of the Westport, WA. VFW, she also enjoyed clam digging, crocheting, salmon fishing and her family. At the age of 14 she climbed Mt. Hood.
Survived by: Children: Christine Cooper of Warren, OR.; Robert Westman of St. Helens; Jeffrey Ramberg; Judith Moore both of Kent, WA.; Steven Ramberg of Westport, WA.; Siblings: Jan Taylor of Beaverton, OR.; Virginia Petersen, David & Delano Peters all of Portland; Greta Willard of Milwaukie, OR.; 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
Celebration of Life: Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Columbia Tribute Center-St. Helens, OR.
Committal service & niche inurnment: Columbia Memorial Gardens-Scappoose, OR.
