Wayne Jeffrey Lufkin's Obituary
A celebration of Life gathering will be held, 1:00pm, Wednesday, May 23rd at Columbia Funeral Home. Wayne died May 18th in Portland; he was 45 years of age.
Wayne was born, January 19, 1967 in St. Helens, Oregon to Ted and Trudy Williams Lufkin the elder of two children. Raised in St. Helens he graduated class of 1985 and was the prom king that year.
Wayne's family has lived in the St. Helens, Yankton, Warren area since the early 1900's when his great grandfather moved here.
Wayne enjoyed life, that's an understatement. He felt most comfortable in the outdoors hunting for deer and taking in his environment. Later in life he took pleasure in watching NASCAR and the Scifi Channel programs, but his greatest pleasure was his family.
Wayne is survived by his dad; Ted of Yuma, AZ, children; Ashley Cutright and Brit of Ft. Bragg, NC, Cody Lufkin of St. Helens and Jessica Rockdaschel andDanny of St. Helens, sister Tracy Shearer and Scott of Keizer, Oregon.
He was preceded in death by his mom in 2005.
