Wendy S. Lofquist was born on June 29, 1962 in Pamona, CA. to Don & Barbara Annable McCurter.
She died in a Longview hospice care center on November 6, 2005 at the age of 43.
She attended schools in Montclair, CA. moving to Portland in 1971 and Columbia City in 1994.
She was married Jason, her love of 14 years, in a lighthouse in Ilwaco, OR. in 2003.
She worked for the St. Helens Family counceling center, for the last 5 years she was a Business systems analyst for Regence Blue Cross Health insurance company.
She attended the St. Helens First Christian church and Columbia River Foursquare Church. Her enjoyments included camping, crafts, softball, holidays.
Survivors include: Parents: Don & Barbara McCurter of Warren, OR.; Husband: Jason Lofquist; Children: Sheena & Colt Gilbertson; Jesse, Zane, Brandon Lofquist all of Columbia City; Siblings: Richard McCurter of St. Helens & Gail McCurter of Portland; Numerous nieces & nephews.
Celebration of Life: Sat. 11/12/05 at 11:00 AM at Columbia Funeral Home
Memorial contributions may be made to the Longview Hospice Center or to Ronald McDonald House in Portland.
