Wesley A. DuBois' Obituary
Wesley A. DuBois was born on August 30, 1930 in Deer Island, Oregon to Leonard & Rosa Marsh DuBois.
He died at a Portland hospital on May 3, 2009 at the age of 78.
After graduating from St. Helens High School with the class of 1949 he married his high school sweeheart Alice England. They would have been married 60 years in July.
He worked for a brief time at the paper mill in St. helen, 10 years for the City of St. Helens and 31 years at Watters Concrete Products of St. Helens where he was a heavy equipment operator for 31 years, retiring in 1992. After retirement he became more involved in running the farm which was his passion.
He was also an avid hunter and fisherman and had a special love for family pets, his own & others.
He was a member of the Elks Lodge, Kinder Cemetery board member and bowled on Tuesday night on the mixed bowling leauge.
Survivors include: Wife: Alice DuBois of Deer Island; Children: Steven Caroline Dubois of St. Helens; Debby Dennis Widme of Deer Island; Wes Butch DuBois of Deer Island; Penny Rose of Hillsboro; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
Celebration of Life: Friday, May 8, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Yankton Community Fellowship Church
Private family committal service & vault interment: Kinder Cemetery-Deer Island.
