Willa Yocam's Obituary
Jean passed away April 22nd at a Portland hospital. She was 80 years of age.
Jean was born August 19, 1930 at Humboldt, Nebraska to Henry W. and Veneta M. Foster Leeper.
Jean moved to the Scappoose area in 1972. She was married to Arnold E. Yocam who preceded her in death in 1978.
Jean enjoyed talking with friends and in her later years, every one was a friend! She was a cook for the Scappoose School district from 1974-1980 and a sales rep for T & K Products from 1980 – 1991. She was involved with 4H as an instructor in sewing and knitting. She was an excellent seamstress.
Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life.
Jean is survived by her Daughter, LeeAnn Pankratz, Grandchildren Hailey, Katie and Matthew Pankratz all of Scappoose; Son, Steven Brandeberry; Sister, Donna Anderson; Brothers, Tom and Cliff Leeper. She was preceded in death by her Son, Michael; Daughter, Caroline; and Sister, Judy.
